Jacob & Caitlin’s Wedding

Caitlin and Jacob’s December wedding at Gin on 391 was classic, traditional, and completely focused on what mattered most to them: enjoying the day with their family and friends. Everything felt relaxed from beginning to end, and these two somehow managed to look like actual models while still being completely chill about the whole thing. I also loved getting to photograph another wedding for their family after photographing Caitlin’s brother’s wedding a few years ago.

Once the sun went down, I decided to play around with a little direct flash for some of their portraits, and they ended up being some of my favorites from the day. The nighttime setting, Caitlin’s long veil, and Jacob’s classic tux gave the photos such a fun, editorial feel while still fitting perfectly with their traditional wedding day.
