Shelby & Alden’s Engagement Session

Shelby and Alden’s winter engagement session felt so perfectly them. They both love the outdoors, so an open field with soft winter light was such a natural setting for the two of them. I’ve known Shelby since childhood, so getting to photograph this season of her life made this session even more special.

One of my favorite things to notice was how naturally caring Alden is with Shelby. He was always looking out for her, and the two of them just seemed happiest tucked into each other’s arms. I loved photographing that quiet, comfortable connection between them, and I’m so excited to have them back in front of my camera for their wedding this fall!
