Rob and Melanie | The Millstone at Adam's Pond Wedding
When we drove up to Rob and Melanie’s wedding venue, the sky was cloudy, it was drizzling, and you could hear thunder in the distance. But, when you walked inside the venue, you could see the most amazing floral linens, a black wedding cake, and a very happy bride and groom. The weather didn’t matter, these two were getting married and it was going to be amazing no matter what.
Melanie and Rob are just so cute together. I wish you could have seen the way Rob swooped her up and kissed her during their ceremony! It was precious and one of my favorite moments I witnessed that day. These two also have such great style (hello black invitation, black cake, and black floral bridesmaids dresses!). I’m still obsessed with all their details. We absolutely loved working with these two. Their kindness towards us is something I’ll never forget! Enjoy my favorite photos below and don’t forget to read about their proposal. Rob did awesome!
He told me we were going to see a movie at the Nickelodeon on Main Street and meeting up with his friend and co-worker, and his wife. The details of the story were incredible, I was even texting with her that day saying how I was excited to finally meet her! So, any time we go anywhere on Main Street we always like to get ice cream at our favorite spot, Sweet Cream. We got our ice cream before the movie and were sitting on a bench outside when “randomly,” our friend who is a photographer walked down the street and stopped to talk to us for a while. Rob then asked him if he could take a picture of us and we proceeded to stand up, and then all of a sudden Rob was down on one knee with my ring in his hand asking me to be his wife! I was TOTALLY shocked and it definitely took me a minute to understand what was happening (poor Rob haha!) and then I finally got it together and said yes!
