Maggie's Bridal Portraits

When I showed up to Maggie’s bridal portrait session there was a slew of cars. I instantly thought, ok this girl has a big fan club! When I walked in, I was welcomed by the most friendly and inviting family. Maggie and her family are some of the most kind people I have ever met. Maggie is very close with all of her family so when it was time for bridal portraits they decided to make an evening of it. They had a buffet of the most delicious food (and sent me home with a plate!) as they spent the evening together admiring Maggie. It was really sweet and made me realize how thankful I am for my family.

Maggie and Townes’ had their incredible wedding day this past Saturday and I can’t wait to share more photos from it. They were married at her aunt’s house, the same place we took Maggie’s bridal portraits. This house has a lot of history and it was awesome seeing them transform the space for the wedding. The property is sooo stunning with gorgeous, massive, trees and surrounding farm land. It was really special because as we were taking a few photos indoors, Maggie’s mom mentioned how this was the exact spot she had a bridal photo taken of herself years ago. So special.

Maggie had a stunning off the shoulder dress with lots of lace accents and I love how she had the perfect classic updo. One of my favorite parts of the session was how Maggie had two veils. One new one she bought with the dress and then Townes’ grandmother’s veil. Both were so stunning and I love that Maggie wanted to showcase both. One for sentimental reasons and one of her own that I’m sure she could pass down one day as well. (Townes’ grandmothers veil is the one that has the detailed lace all across the edge).

Enjoy my favorites below! This is one stunning bride and I’m so honored to document these special moments!

Like I mentioned above, I loved how Maggie’s family come to her bridal portraits, they all got to spend time together while celebrating Maggie. So after portraits, when everyone was getting ready to eat, I got to grab these few photos. I just love their family!!
